Sign up (apply) for an opportunity

    About this task

    Once you find an opportunity that you’re interested in, you must sign up and apply for the opportunity.

    Procedure

    1. From the Employee Center go to Opportunity marketplace > Other opportunities.
      Look at the opportunities on the Other opportunities page to find the opportunity role you want to apply for.
      Tip:
      Select the heart next to the vertical ellipses to add the opportunity to Your Favorites tab in the in the Employee Center portal.
    2. Select View details for the opportunity role that you’re interested in applying for.
      Opportunities with multiple roles don't display the View details button. You must open the opportunity and select View details for a role in the opportunity.
    3. From the role details page, select Sign up.
    4. Fill in the form to apply for the opportunity role.

      Field Description
      Craft a note Write a note to send to the owner of the opportunity.
      Your skills Your available skills are automatically added to the opportunity. If no skills are listed, you can add skills to your profile before you submit the application.
      Your experience This section enables you to add more relevant details about your experience by adding files and links to the application.

    5. Select Sing up and apply to submit your application to the opportunity owners.
