# Download Excel templates

# Download and fill Excel templates for bulk upload {#ariaid-title1}

Use an Excel template to provide information about your campuses, buildings, and floors.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_map_core.admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllIndoor MappingMap Studio.
2. On the Bulk hierarchy upload card, select Upload hierarchy.
3. In the Download Excel Templates section, download a template based on your requirement.
4. In the downloaded template file, fill in the information.  
   For more information about the template columns, see [Bulk upload Excel columns](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/i4io321GHp1mOhQ6H5UuAQ "Use the bulk upload template to provide information about your campuses, buildings, and floors.").  
   Important:  
   You must use the precise latitude and longitude coordinates for your campus and building. For more information about getting precise coordinates, see [Google Maps Help](https://support.google.com/maps/answer/18539).

## What to do next

After filling the Excel template files, you can upload them to your instance. You must upload the files in the following order: CampusBuildingFloor.
