Submit a Legal Content Review request to seek services from the legal department.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_user

## About this task

If you have the Legal Virtual Agent Conversations application installed on your instance, you can also submit a Legal Content Review request through Virtual Agent chat. For more information, see [Legal Virtual Agent Conversations](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/yQsAdI9GmO2BUnYtbgprSA "The ServiceNow Legal Virtual Agent Conversations application provides predefined conversation topics to enable automated chats with employees seeking legal services. You can build new topics or customize predefined topics to handle common legal requests from employees or guide them through self-service tasks.").

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllEmployee Center.  
   Note:  
   If you're using Legal Service Portal, you can submit a legal request by navigating to the Legal Service Portal and selecting a request from the Service Catalog.
2. Navigate to Help centerLegal services.
3. Search for the content review request item.
4. Select Legal Content Review.
5. On the Content Review form, fill in the fields.

6. Select Submit.

## Result

* A Legal Content Review request is created in the New state.

* The request is assigned to a group or user in the legal department based on the assignment rule set in the associated practice area. * If the administrator has configured notifications, you receive notifications about the progress of the request.
