# Cancel a wet signature

# Cancel a wet signature process for non-disclosure agreement legal requests {#ariaid-title1}

As a legal user, cancel the wet signature process for contract documents in NDA legal requests that have been sent to signatories.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_cm_core.contract_user and sn_lg_ops.legal_user

## About this task

The state of the contract request should be Awaiting signature.

## Procedure

1. Open a legal request.

   | Method | Actions |
   | Employee Center | 1. Navigate to AllEmployee Center 2. Select My Requests in the header menu. 3. Open the non-disclosure agreement request. {#snlc-cancel-a-wet-signature__ol_vgq_vng_hxb} |
   | Legal Service Portal | 1. Navigate to AllLegal RequestLegal Service Portal 2. Select My Requests in the header menu. 3. Select View all requests. 4. Open the non-disclosure agreement request. {#snlc-cancel-a-wet-signature__ol_ebm_hng_hxb} |

2. On the Standard Ticket page, from the Actions menu, select Cancel signature.
3. On the confirmation window, select Cancel signature.

## Result

The contract status updates to Signature cancelled, and a notification email is sent to all signatories.
