# Georeference your floor plan

# Georeference your floor plan {#ariaid-title1}

Georeference and position your source floor plan on the map to scale it.

## Before you begin

Role required: admin

## Procedure

1. Select the Map Configuration tab to display the Map configuration page.  
   Note:  
   if the floor plan isn't positioned on the map, georeference isn't set (![Georeference not set warning alert.]()) alert is shown.
2. Select Georeference, then select Edit.

3. Move around the pins to position your floor plan on the map.
4. Select Display, then from the drop-down list, enable the radio button for the required floors.
5. Select Save.
