Using a Response template in an HR case or HR task record

  • Use response templates as reusable messages that you can copy and paste into the comments or work notes for an HR case or task.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_hr_core.case_writer

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > HR Case Management > Agent Workspace for HR Case Management.
    2. Select the Lists icon (Lists icon).
    3. Select an HR case or task.

      1. Select All HR cases > Assigned to me.
      2. Select the HR case.
      HR task
      1. Select HR tasks > Assigned to me.
      2. Select the HR task.
    4. From the contextual side panel, select the Response templates icon (Response template icon).
    5. Select the View response templates icon (View response templates icon) to display templates based on the language preference of the selected user.
      For example, only response templates in the French language are displayed to the assigned to user because French has been selected in the Language field in the user profile of assigned to.
    6. Select the response template.
    7. Select the Copy to clipboard button and paste the text in the Comments/Worknotes area.
    8. Select Post Comments.
      The reused message is visible under the Comments/Worknotes section to the subject person.
