    • You can request a safety data sheet (SDS) from the chemical record to view the safety data for that chemical. The SDS can be downloaded in different languages.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_hs_chm.manager

    About this task

    To request SDS in different languages, the plugin 3E spoke (com.sn_hs_spoke_3e) must be installed.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Health and Safety > Health and Safety Workspace.
    2. In the primary navigation, select Environmental Management (environmental management) icon.
    3. Select the Chemicals list and then select All.
    4. Select a chemical record.
    5. Select the Documents related list of the chemical record.
    6. Select the Fetch SDS button.
    7. On the Create safety data sheet (SDS) request form, select the Country and the Language.
    8. Select Create.

    Result

    The SDS is requested from the service provider. The SDS request is displayed in the Service provider requests related list of the chemical record. The document is added to the Documents related list when the response is received from the service provider.
