Move conflicts for projects created via Excel upload

  • Review the conflicts and decide whether you want to resolve or ignore them.

    If you create a move project from an excel file, the Move information table displays the business and data conflicts. You can review the conflicts to decide whether you want to resolve or ignore them. You can also remove the move record from the table.

    Table 1. Data issues
    Conflict Description
    Missing required data The record doesn't contain information for the specified mandatory columns.
    • Employee name
    • Employee email
    • From building
    • From floor
    • From space
    • To building
    • To floor
    • To space
    Invalid/Non existent Employee The user name isn't available in the system.
    Invalid/Non existent email The email address isn't available in the system.
    Incorrect to building/floor/space The building, floor, or space that the user is moving to is incorrect or invalid.
    Incorrect from building/floor/space The building, floor, or space that the user is moving from is incorrect or invalid.
    Same source and destination The From and To location of the record is the same.

    Conflict Description
    Inactive Destination The location record of the selected destination is inactive.
    Occupied Destination The selected destination is already occupied by another user.
    Allocation Mismatch The user's allocation doesn't match the allocation of the selected destination.

    Flexible Destination The selected destination is a flexible or shared location, not a fixed assignment.

    Capacity Exceeded The selected destination exceeds its capacity when the move is completed.

    Duplicate destination location If the uploaded Excel sheet has the same location listed in two different rows, this conflict will occur.
