Manage objects and elements in your CAD file using the Map Configuration tab.

Select a layer or place to preview it on the Map configuration preview layout.
1. [Georeference your floor plan](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/NC3GVBtpA8eLiMfULzSBKQ)  
   Georeference and position your source floor plan on the map to scale it.
2. [Configure layers](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/rwqdhPjxX~z1RSQOS8j7~Q)  
   Select a layer on the Map Configuration preview and edit it.
3. [Configure places](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/28DAmUpnREWJ5FuETjyBGQ)  
   Configure Places using the Map Configuration preview layout. Retrieve place types from the CAD file.
