Create a Talent Development Core featured growth item

  • Use the Featured Growth Items table to define the roles, skills, and opportunities that appear in the Featured by your company widget. This widget can be used to promote desirable career opportunities and skills that foster growth and development for employees within your organization.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_egd_shared_lib.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Talent Development Core > Administration > Featured Growth Items.
    2. Select New.
    3. Use the Type field to specify the feature growth item you want to promote.
      The form displays new fields that are specific to the option you selected in the Type field.
    4. Set the corresponding fields that appear on the form depending on the option you selected in the Type field.
    5. Optional: Add an image for the opportunity that you want to promote by selecting the Click to add... link in the Image field.
      The Image field only appears when the Type field is set to Opportunity.
    6. Optional: Indicate the order in which the feature growth item appears by entering a numeric value in the Order field.
    7. Make your featured growth item available to employees within your organization by selecting the check box associated with the Active field.
    8. Optional: Specify the employee groups to whom the feature growth item is available by using the User criteria field.
    9. Optional: Enter a description in the Description field to provide further details about the role, skill, or opportunity you want to promote.
    10. Select Submit.
