Download and fill Excel templates for bulk upload

    • Use an Excel template to provide information about your campuses, buildings, and floors.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_map_core.admin

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Indoor Mapping > Map Studio.
    2. On the Bulk hierarchy upload card, select Upload hierarchy.
    3. In the Download Excel Templates section, download a template based on your requirement.
    4. In the downloaded template file, fill in the information.
      For more information about the template columns, see Bulk upload Excel columns.
      Important:
      You must use the precise latitude and longitude coordinates for your campus and building. For more information about getting precise coordinates, see Google Maps Help.

    What to do next

    After filling the Excel template files, you can upload them to your instance. You must upload the files in the following order: Campus > Building > Floor.
