Reopen a legal hold matter

    • Reopen a closed legal hold matter when a legal hold is either revoked or newly issued in relation to the same closed legal matter.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_lg_hold.legal_hold_fulfiller

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Legal Request > Legal Counsel Center.
    2. Select the List icon (List icon).
    3. In the Default lists tab, navigate to Matters > All
    4. Select the legal matter from the list.
    5. In the legal matter page, select Reopen.
    6. In the Comments field of the Response matter pop-up window, enter the reason to reopen the legal hold notification matter.
    7. Select OK.

    Result

    The closed legal hold notification matter is reopened, and its state changes from Closed complete to Work in Progress.
