    • Make updates to your job preferences to help you apply for opportunities. Your job preferences are used by Opportunity Marketplace to do a match analysis with roles.

    Access is based on user criteria. You must be an OPM licensed user.

    About this task

    Your job preferences are used to make accurate recommendations for you. Opportunity Marketplace enables you to update your internal job preferences for different roles within the organization.

    Updating your internal job preferences let's you apply for roles related to your preferences.

    Procedure

    1. From the Employee Center go to Opportunity Marketplace > Internal jobs.
      Note:
      Internal jobs is used as an example for this task. You can also update opportunity preferences from Other opportunities.
    2. Select Edit Preferences.

      Opportunity preferences are configured by your organizations administrator. You can see different preferences depending on the opportunity and how your organization configures the opportunity.

      Field Description
      Which working style do you prefer? Working styles are configured for the opportunity type. Your organization can have different opportunity types.
      How much travle are you comfortable with? This fields is asking you to give an amount of your time that you are willing to travel for this opportunity. This field is configured in the Opportunity type by an administrator. Your organization may have different preferences.
      Which job levels are you interested in? Job levels are configured by you organizations administrator. Job levels can be specific for you organization.
      Which work locations do you prefer? Select from the list of available job locations. Job locations are configured as part of the Opportunity type. Locations will depend on how your organization has configured the opportunity type.
    3. Select Save and close.
