Sending notifications during a critical event

  • Send critical event notification to impacted people and on-site responders in Critical Event Management to inform them of the situation and request their response.

    Before you begin

    The critical event state must be set to Active to populate the notification templates.

    Role required: sn_critical.agent

    About this task

    Use the existing notification templates to send messages to impacted people and on-site responders. The templates are preset by the admin.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to Workspaces > Health and Safety Workspace and select the Critical Event Management tab.
    2. Open the critical event.
    3. Select the Notification center tab.
    4. In the tile for the relevant communication, select the Compose button.
      You can manage the communication recipients and the communication record by selecting the More actions icon (More actions icon).

    5. Edit the message in the template as needed.
    6. Select Send.
