Check in using an invite

  • Check in as a visitor by using an invite from an employee.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_wsd_kiosk.viewer

    Procedure

    1. On the kiosk device, select Check-in.
    2. Select any of the following check-in options.
      The invitation pass code is the default check-in option.
      Note:
      If the QR code is the default check-in option, the camera is enabled on the check-in page to scan the QR code.
      • Check-in with Qr-code
      • Check-in with invitation passcode
      • Check-in with email address
      • Check-in with phone number
      • Check-in with your name
    3. Enter the information based on the check-in option, then select Continue.
      Note:
      If the provided information is incorrect or not linked to an invite, the kiosk device displays an error page. If the admin has enabled self-registration, you can register your visit by selecting Register visit. For more information, see Self-register as a visitor.
    4. Verify the details of your visit, then select Continue.
    5. Optional: Take a picture for the check-in process.
      1. On the Let's take a picture page, select Continue.
      2. Select the camera icon to start the timer for a picture.
        You can use the time to adjust your position.
      3. Select Continue to use the picture for your visit.
        You can also retake your picture by selecting Retake.
    6. Optional: Read the visitor policies, then select Acknowledge.
      Based on the configuration set by the admin, you might have to add a signature to acknowledge the policies.
      Note:
      If you have already signed and agreed to the policies before your visit, the policies might still be displayed based on the configuration set by the admin.
    7. View the next steps, then select Done.
