Configure Outside Firm records to enable the assignment of outside counsels to review and process the patent filing of Legal Invention Disclosure requests.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_lg_matter.matter_config

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllLegal MatterOutside Counsel SetupSetup Outside Firms.
2. Select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Outside Firm Name | Name of the outside firm. |
   | Description | Detailed description about the outside firm. |
   | Office Name | Name of the office of the outside firm. |
   | Street Address | Address of the outside firm. |
   | PO Box number | Post box number of the outside firm. |
   | City | City where the outside firm is located. |
   | State/Province | State or province where the outside firm is located. |
   | Country | Country where the outside firm is located. |
   | Active | Option to make the Outside Firm record active. |

4. Select Submit.
