# Create a content collection

# Create a content collection {#ariaid-title1}

Create a content collection in Learning to dynamically group Learning content that includes multiple internal and external courses.

## Before you begin

Every collection must be a part of a course catalog. Create a course catalog before you create a collection. For more information, see [Create a course catalog](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/eNdAluGgmWZs4HWE4SiZcw "Create a course catalog to maintain courses under one category and drive access control.").

Role required: sn_lc.learning_admin, sn_lc.learning_course_catalog_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllLearningContentCollection.
2. Select New.
3. On the Collection form, fill in the fields.

4. Select Submit.
