Customize Healthcare Employee Onboarding workflow to tailor to your organization needs.

## Before you begin

Role required: Healthcare admin (sn_hr_hc.admin)

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllHR AdministrationHR ServicesHR Service Configuration.
2. Select Healthcare Employee Onboarding Journey.  
   You can continue to use the default settings or update the values as per your business requirements.
   * In Lifecycle event type, the default value is Healthcare Employee Onboarding. Open the record to add, remove, or update the activity from activity sets as per your business requirements. You can also choose to select another Lifecycle event type based on your business needs.
   * In Journey Configuration, the default value is Healthcare Employee Onboarding. Open the record to add, remove, or update the activity and stages as per your business requirements. You can also choose to select another journey configuration based on your business needs.

3. Click Update.

## What to do next

When a hiring manager places an onboarding request using the Healthcare Employee Onboarding catalog in Employee Center, the Healthcare Employee Onboarding Journey service is triggered and HR tasks are
initiated for HR agents and the healthcare professional.
