# Add an interview task to a legal matter

As part of your complaint investigation, add an interview task for the involved
parties in the legal investigations matter.

## Before you begin

Role required:sn_lg_investigate.fulfiller

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllLegal RequestLegal Counsel Center.
2. Open a legal matter assigned to you in which you want to add a legal matter task.
   * To add a task to a matter, in the Tasks tab of the Legal Matter form, click New.
   * To add a task to a phase, open a phase from the Phases tab and click New in the Legal Matter Tasks tab of the phase record.

3. On the Legal Matter Task form, select Interview from the Type field. {#add-interview-matter-task__lmt-step-3}

4. On the form, fill in the fields.

5. Save the legal matter task.
   * Save a legal matter task by clicking Save.
   * Save the changes to an existing legal matter task by clicking Update.
