# Create a course catalog

Create a course catalog to maintain courses under one category and drive access
control.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_lc.learning_admin, sn_lc.learning_course_catalog_admin

## Procedure

1. Navigate to LearningAdministrationCourse Catalog.
2. Click New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.  
   For a description of the field values, see [Course catalog form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/QIqYOgNWy3zX9VC0ZvdTKw "Use the course catalog form to create a new learning course catalog.").
4. Click Submit.

  After creating a course catalog, create new course items to add to the course catalog and categorize them accordingly.
