Workplace Space Mapping provides interactive locations and wayfinding solutions in your
workplace with Indoor Mapping and Mappedin. Indoor Mapping provides
inbuilt indoor maps for Workplace Space Mapping. Mappedin is a third-party map
provider.

## Synchronize Workplace Indoor Mapping with Workplace Service Delivery {#wsm-space-mapping-explore__section_wzc_hc4_gtb}

* Indoor Mapping is the inbuilt map provider with Workplace Service Delivery suite for wayfinding within workplaces.  
  Note:  
  Install both Indoor Mapping and the dependent plugin Workplace Indoor Mapping.

## Using External IDs {#wsm-space-mapping-explore__section_f2t_tlg_knb}

Use external IDs to resolve spaces that do not match the locations in Workplace Service Delivery from Indoor Mapping or Mappedin maps after
importing or synchronizing a building.
