Use link content to create URL or video links. You can use these links on the Employee Center, in a campaign, or in Communities (when Communities is
installed).

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_cd.content_manager

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllContent PublishingRe-usable ComponentsLink Content.
2. Click New or an existing Link Content.
   For more information on the fields and description, see [Link content form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/U2JznbM3BytuTvP_dJwJlQ "Link content form.").
3. Click Submit, Update, or Save
   If you select Save, the Portal Content tab appears. To associate portal content to your link, you must first create portal content and associate it via the Link field on the Portal Content form. For more information, see [Create calendar content](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/vBeFpSB5UcCjeo4OgdDrUA#ec-content-library-portal-calendar "Using the Content Library, you can create calendar content that provide your employees with a quick way of viewing scheduled events.").

## What to do next

Use the Content Library to create content that includes the link and publish it to the portal or mobile app:

* [Create URL content](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/Sldw5KA6JlQvtymp0ozC8A "Using the Content Library, you can create URL content containing a link to information.")
* [Create image-based link content](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/QmFuVajE5znEc6Mi4Yfo6g "Using the Content Library, you can upload a picture or graphic and link it to a url.")
* [Mobile content](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/BSEgmLlD8kGB9iYdYeXMPQ "Create different types of content that your employees can view on their mobile devices.")

{#ecpro-manage-link-content__ul_fhl_wzq_4bc}
Note:
The option to open links in a new tab is only supported in the Service Portal. In the mobile app and Workspace, links will open in the current window, regardless of the Load link in configuration.
