# Manage people involved in a safety incident

# Manage people involved in a safety incident {#ariaid-title1}

Add a person involved or modify the information of an existing person involved in a safety incident.

## Before you begin

Role required: sn_ohs_im.manager, sn_ohs_im.agent, or sn_ohs_im.operations_manager

## About this task

People involved are individuals who are directly or indirectly connected to an incident, such as an injured person, collaborators added to the watch list, witnesses, and other relevant individuals. These individuals can be from
within or outside your organization.

## Procedure

1. Navigate to AllHealth and SafetyHealth and Safety Workspace.
2. Open a safety incident assigned to you in which you want to add involved people.
3. Select the Report an incident tab.  
   The incident playbook opens.
4. In the Add people involved activity, add or modify a person involved.
   * To add a person involved, fill in the fields in the Add persons involved section.
   * To modify the record of an existing person involved, select the person in the People involved list to open it.

5. Select Save.
6. **Optional:** To mark this activity as complete, select Mark complete.  
   The next activity or stage becomes available in the playbook.

## Result

The involved person is listed in the People involved section of the activity. The involved person's card also appears in the People involved section in the Incident Overview tab.
