Submit a gifts and entertainment disclosure

    • Submit a disclosure to obtain the legal clearance for gifts and entertainment.

    Before you begin

    Role required: sn_lg_ops.legal_user

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Employee Center > Legal services > Ethics and compliance.
    2. Select Gifts & Entertainment Disclosure.
    3. Note:
      For description on the field values, see Gift and entertainment disclosure form
      On the form, fill in the fields and click Submit.

    Result

    • A gifts and entertainment disclosure request is created in the New state. If the value of the disclosure is within the maximum amount allowed, the request is auto-approved and the state is updated to Approved.
    • The approval flow is triggered under the following conditions.
      • There are no gift policies defined or there are no active policies.
      • The value of the disclosure is more than the maximum amount allowed.
      • The external company name is not available in the list and was manually entered.
    • The Standard Ticket page displays the following tabs to perform different tasks:
      • Activity: Track the activity history of the request and post messages for the fulfiller working on the request.
      • Attachments or Documents: Upload and manage the documents in the legal request.
        Note:
        If the external storage option is enabled, the Documents tab is displayed. Otherwise, the Attachments tab is displayed.
      • Request details: Review request details.
