Safety inspections and audits
With Health and Safety Risk Management, safety teams can schedule, assign, and conduct workplace safety inspections and audits of particular activities, processes, or areas at their establishments.
Safety inspections and audits within the Health and Safety Workspace enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and consistency of safety inspections and audits across your organization. The objective is to support conformance with regulatory standards while reducing the risks of workplace accidents.
The safety inspections and audits are built on the ServiceNow®
Assessments and Surveys and provide the following capabilities:
- Build and manage safety inspections and audits. Use surveys available with the application or build new ones with the Survey designer. For more information, see Survey designer.
- Schedule inspections and audits at regular intervals with the Inspection Scheduler and Audit Scheduler.
- Conduct inspection and audit surveys through Employee Center or on Now Mobile app.
- Complete inspection and audit surveys offline through the Mobile Agent app. Surveys completed offline are synchronized once an internet connection is established. For more information, see Complete a safety inspection or audit survey in the offline mode.
- Maintain standards and documents list enabling standards or regulatory documents to be used as a reference for audit findings.
