Enables you to test the ServiceNow components on your sandbox instance without setting up a custom URL and authentication. It isn’t recommended to use this method for production or non-production instance.

Enables you to test the ServiceNow components on your sandbox instance without setting up a custom URL.

Antes de Iniciar

Make sure third-party cookies are enabled in your browsers, such as Google Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge.

Role required: admin

Procedimento

  1. Navigate to All > Web embeddables > Configure.
  2. On the Configure tab, in the Specify your custom domain field enter the ServiceNow instance URL.
  3. In the browser, open the test site.

Resultado

The ServiceNow component appears on the test browser page.

Procedimento

  1. In the browser, open the third-party site where ServiceNow components are embedded.
    Nota:
    If you’re not logged in to your instance ServiceNow component doesn’t appear.
  2. In the same browser, open the ServiceNow instance in an adjacent tab.
  3. Log in using your ServiceNow credentials.
  4. Return to the previous tab and refresh the page.
    Nota:
    The ServiceNow components should appear and display the relevant information.
