Create a company record and associate it to an internal or an external business location.

## Associate company records with a business location {#ariaid-title2}

Associate your company records with a business location to enhance service organization data model adoption across different industry verticals.

### Antes de Iniciar

Add the Company field to an internal or an external business location form using the form layout. For more information, see [Add fields to a form layout in Table Builder](https://www.servicenow.com/docs/access?context=add-form-fields&version=australia&pubname=australia-application-development&ft:locale=en-US).

Role required: admin, user_admin

### Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllCustomer ServiceService OrganizationsInternal/External Business Locations.
2. Select the internal or external business location from the list that you want to associate a company record to. 
3. Select the company record previously created from the Company field.
4. Select and hold (or right-click) in the header and select Save.

### Resultado

The company record is successfully associated with a business location.
