# Change portal password

# Change your password from the Consumer Portal {#ariaid-title1}

Update your Consumer Portal password to protect your account and ensure continued access.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_customerservice.consumer

## Procedimento

1. Select your user name in the portal header to display the user profile information.
2. Select Change Password.
3. Fill in the fields on the Change Password form.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Current Password | The current password. This field is automatically filled in. |
   | New Password | The new password. This password must: * Be a minimum of eight characters in length * Include at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter * Include at least one number {#password-change-consumer-portal__ul_jmf_jzb_dv} |
   | Confirm Password | Retype the new password. |

4. Select Change.
