    Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

    Use the Request furniture workplace service to request a piece of furniture or equipment, such as a chair, a table, adjustable desk, cabinet, flip card, white board, or other items.

    Procedimento

    1. Navigate to All > Workplace Core > Workplace service portal.
      The Workplace Service Portal opens.
    2. To open the General category where the workplace service is located, do the following:
      1. Click Catalog.
      2. Click Browse by Categories.
      3. In the Workplace Services Catalog, select General.
        Nota:
        If there are multiple catalogs configured on the portal, go to the Catalogs list and select Workplace Services Catalog > General.
    3. Select Request furniture.
    4. On the form, fill in the fields.

      Field Description
      Requested for Name of the requester.

      If a workplace profile is defined for the requester, then the Building, Floor, and the Space fields are automatically filled.

      Find a space on a floor map Option to select a space directly on the floor map.

      If employees have a permanent assignment in their workplace profile, the employee names are displayed on the map for a selected space. For more information, see Display permanent seat assignments on floor maps.

      Building Building that has the space for the requested furniture.
      Floor Floor that has the space for the requested furniture.
      Space Space for the requested furniture.
    5. In the Add Furniture section, click Add.
      You can request more than one piece of furniture. Click Add to add more pieces of furniture.
    6. In the Select Furniture field, select the furniture that you want to request for your space.
      The availability of the furniture depends on the configuration set by the workplace manager for the workplace location.
    7. In the Quantity field, specify the required quantity.
      The Cost field is automatically calculated depending on the selected furniture and the quantity specified. The cost also depends on the cost defined by the workplace manager for the selected location.
    8. Click Add.
      The furniture is added to the request.
    9. Opcional: In the Is there anything else we should know? field, specify any instruction or extra information if required.
    10. Opcional: Select Add attachments to attach any files of required.
    11. Click Submit.

    Resultado

    The furniture request is submitted.

    The state of the request changes to Awaiting approval for approval by the respective manager. After the request is approved, the state of the request changes to Work in progress. Depending on the progress of the background tasks that are assigned to fulfill the request, the state of the request further changes.
