The field descriptions provide a reference point when you're creating a Requests filter definition.

| Field | Description |
|-|-|
| Name | Name of the view filter that shows up in the portal within the multi-tab interface. |
| Description | Short description for the filter definition record. |
| All portals | Option to enable the filter definition in all your portals. |
| Render as view | Option to render the filter definition for all your portals. Nota: The Render as view check box throws an error when there are different filter definitions already selected for different applications using the All portal check box. |
| Application | Application scope where the filter definition record resides. |
| Active | Option to enable the filter definition. |
| Order | Order of priority to determine which filter definition to prioritize. |
| Available for | Option to add the users the filter definition is available for. |
| Not available for | Option to choose any audience if they should be excluded from accessing the filter definition. |
| Filter type | Type of filter you can use on the tab you're configuring with the view filter for the My Requests page. The two types available are: Choice: Choice of selecting one or more filter options on the My Requests tab. Nota: You must select the Filter condition for each Filter type you create. Reference: Point of reference to select as a filter option, like location. |
| Filter type | Reference table: The record table for the point of reference selected, like location. This field appears only when Reference is selected from Filter type. |
| Filter type | Reference conditions: Option to add second-level filter conditions for the reference filter, like location. This section appears only when Reference is selected from Filter type. |
| Filter type | Search field: Label of the reference filter type visible on the Requests page. |
| Multi-Select | Option to enable multiple selections for Choice Filter type. |
| Request filter configurations | Sub-filters configured under the filter option. |
| Associated Tabs | Tabs associated to the filter. |
