# Enable notification for contract metadata extraction {#ariaid-title1}

Enable the notification for contract metadata extraction to receive email notifications when metadata extraction is completed.

## Por Que e Quando Desempenhar Esta Tarefa

The Metadata extraction-Completed notification is not active by default.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: admin

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllSystem NotificationEmailNotifications.
2. In the Name column, search for <kbd class="ph userinput">metadata</kbd>.
3. Select Metadata extraction-Completed.
4. On the Notification form, select the Active check box.

5. Select Update.

## Resultado

The metadata extraction email notification is activated and triggers when the metadata extraction process is completed.
