# Create a visitor policy

# Create a visitor policy {#ariaid-title1}

Define a policy that must be accepted by a visitor prior to their arrival. Send email
notification to the visitor about the policy and enable them to accept the policy by
replying to the email​.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_wsd_visitor.admin

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllWorkplace Visitor ManagementAdministrationVisitor Policies.
2. Select New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

   | Field | Description |
   |-|-|
   | Title | Title of the visitor policy. |
   | Active | Option to activate the policy. |
   | Short Description | Short description about the policy. |
   | Description | Detailed description of the policy. Policy content that should be read and accepted by the visitors. |

4. Select Submit.

## Resultado

The visitor policy is added.

Assign the visitor policy to workplace locations.

  Add one or more workplace location to a visitor policy. Visitors who are registered to arrive at that locations will receive an email notification in prior to accept the policy.
