# Create a child topic

Create child topics for the parent topic in the taxonomy.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: taxonomy_admin

User criteria required: Taxonomy Manager, Taxonomy Contributor, Topic Manager, Topic Contributor.

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllContent TaxonomyTopics.
2. Click and open the parent topic to which you want to add a child topic.

3. On the Child Topics tab, click New.
4. On the form, fill in the fields.

5. Click Submit.
