The chemical library is a centralized repository that lists all chemicals used or managed by an organization. Employees can access the chemical library through the Employee Center.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_hs_chm.requestor

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllSelf serviceEmployee Center.
2. Select Health and Safety menu.
3. Under the Quick links, select View chemical library.

## Resultado

The chemical library is displayed containing a list of chemicals, its manufacturer, approved locations, and the person responsible for maintaining that chemical.

## O que Fazer Depois

You can use the chemical library to search for chemicals by name or keyword, and access the chemical record. The chemical record lets you view detailed information, including chemical identity, ingredients, concentrations,
hazard data, first aid, and related safety documents. For information on creating a chemical request, see [Create a chemical request from the Employee Center](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/b6nGr1yMh6Gn~euU2iod3g "Employees can request a chemical available in the chemical library or initiate a request for a new chemical from the Employee Center.").
