# Create chemical request

# Create a chemical request from the Employee Center {#ariaid-title1}

Employees can request a chemical available in the chemical library or initiate a request for a new chemical from the Employee Center.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_hs_chm.requestor

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllSelf serviceEmployee Center.
2. Select the Health and Safety menu.
3. To request a chemical,
   *
     1. Select the Browse Health and Safety button.
     2. Select Request Chemical card.

     1. From the Quick links, select View chemical library.
     2. Select the Request Chemical button.

4. On the Request Chemical form, fill in the details.  
   For field descriptions, see the [Chemical request form](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/K60vcGZjeqVWzd~JMP1psQ "Field and description for a chemical request form. The chemical request form is used by an employee to request for an existing or a new chemical.").
5. Select Save as draft to complete the form later.  
   The draft can be viewed in My Requests, under the Drafts tab.
6. Select Submit.

## Resultado

The chemical request is submitted for approval by the chemical manager.

## O que Fazer Depois

The chemical request can be viewed under My Requests. You can open the chemical request record and view the following:

* The Activity tab displays any updates on the progress of the request.
* The Details tab shows all the information that you submitted through the form.
* The Attachment tab shows any documents attached to this request.

{#hs-create-chemical-request-ec__ul_khj_xxh_lhc} The approved or rejected chemical request can be viewed from the Employee Center under the My Request option. Select the Submitted requests related list and sort by Closed requests.
