# Journey designer plan configuration template process, owners, and maintenance {#ariaid-title1}

Journey plan configuration template management is a collaborative effort that includes
ServiceNow admins, journey template owners, and team experts.  
Creating and managing journeys needs the knowledge and skills of many people. Responsibilities for keeping journey stages and task current aren't always clearly defined. Journey designer enables a journey administrator to orchestrate and delegate all the activities needed to create and maintain journeys.  
Nota:  
An administrator must assign owners and approvers to Journey designer plan configurations.
