# Update your skill proficiency

# Update your skill proficiency level {#ariaid-title1}

Update and track your proficiency level for each skill that you list in your skills profile by using the Skills Foundation application.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_skills_int.emp

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to AllEmployee Center.
2. In the Employee Center, navigate to ProfileCareer tab.
3. Select the Skills widget.
4. On the skills pill, select the menu icon ![Shortcut menu]().
5. Select Change skill proficiency.
6. Move the horizontal slider to adjust your skill proficiency level.  
   Moving the slider to the right-hand side increases the proficiency level, and moving it to the left-hand side decreases the proficiency level.
7. Select Update.

## Resultado

Your skill proficiency level is successfully updated in your skills profile.
