# Create courses to add to a course catalog

# Create courses to add to a course catalog {#ariaid-title1}

After creating a course catalog, create new course items to add to the course catalog
and categorize them accordingly.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_lc.learning_admin, sn_lc.learning_course_catalog_admin

Create a course catalog, for more information see, [Create a course catalog](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/LakQfpPGOPUr8t24Ta65mw "Create a course catalog to maintain courses under one category and drive access control.").

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to LearningAdministrationCourse Catalog.
2. Open the course catalog that you want to add courses to.
3. On the Learning Course Items tab, click New.
4. Select the type of course item that you want to create:

5. Click Submit.
