# Create a content collection

Create a content collection in Learning Core to dynamically group
learning content that includes multiple internal and external courses.

## Antes de Iniciar

Role required: sn_lc.learning_admin, sn_lc.learning_course_catalog_admin

Every collection has to be a part of a course catalog. Create a course catalog before
you can create a collection. For more information, see [Create a course catalog](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/LakQfpPGOPUr8t24Ta65mw "Create a course catalog to maintain courses under one category and drive access control.").

## Procedimento

1. Navigate to LearningContentCollections.
2. Click New.
3. On the form, fill in the fields.

4. Click Submit.

  After you create a collection, add course items as groupings of courses that are orchestrated within ServiceNow®.

  Define user access to the collection to define who has read access to the collections.

  Add learning course sections to collections.
