Update a submitted legal request
Update request details, add comments, or upload documents in a legal request you submitted while it is still in the New or Assigned state. You can cancel a submitted request irrespective of its state.

Navigate to All > Employee Center.
Nota:If you’re using Legal Service Portal, open a request by navigating to the Legal Service Portal portal and selecting My Requests from the header.
- Select My Requests from the header.
- Select the legal request from the list.

On the Standard Ticket page, review and edit the request details, manage
attachments, or cancel the request.
Action Steps Modify the request details Nota:This option is available only if the request is in the New state.- From the Actions menu, select Edit Request.
- In the Variables form, modify the request details.
- Click Save.
- Click Back to return to the Standard Ticket page.
Cancel the request - From the Actions menu, select Cancel Request.
- In the Confirm request cancellation dialog box, provide the
reason for the cancellation in the
Comments field and click
Confirm Cancellation.
The request is canceled and the cancellation comments appear in the Additional Comments section of the request.
Any associated active flows are terminated. Any pending approval record is also canceled and a comment is posted in the Additional Comments section of the approval record.
- Opcional: In the Activity tab, provide comments or more information about your request for the request fulfiller.

Manage documents supporting your request.
Option Steps If the Attachments tab is visible - To upload a new document, select the add attachment icon (
) and select a file.
- To rename an attached file, select the edit file name icon (
) and update the file name.
- To remove an attached file, select the delete icon (
).
If the Documents tab is visible - To upload a new document, select Attach and select a file.
A link to the document is listed in the External URL column of the documents list.
- To remove an attached file, select Delete. In the Delete document dialog box, select a document from the list, and then select Delete.

- Opcional:
In the Approvals tab, view the approval details
associated with the legal request.
Nota:The Approvals tab appears only when the legal request or its attachment has approval records.

In the Legal Matters tab, view any legal matter
associated with the legal request.
Nota:The Legal Matters tab appears only when the legal request is associated with a legal matter, and you have permission to view legal matters.
