Employee Center with HR Service Delivery
The Employee Center is available to use when you activate the Human Resources Scoped App: Core [com.sn_hr_core] plugin.
The Employee Center provides a single and unified portal experience for employees to find information, get help, and request services or items they need. For more information, see Employee Center.
Unified taxonomy mappings
HR taxonomy delivers pre-configured mappings of the HR catalog items and knowledge articles to the HR topics provided by the Employee Experience taxonomy.
Your employees can discover content of different types such as catalog and knowledge together within a single topic. The topic mappings for the HR taxonomy also powers the search in the Employee Center.
To use the Employee Center with HR Service Delivery:
- Activate the HR taxonomy (com.sn_hr_emp_taxonomy) plugin. When activated, the HR catalog items and knowledge (KB) articles are mapped to the topics and subtopics under Taxonomy.
- The base system provides the HR topics and subtopics and are included when
you activate the HR taxonomy (com.sn_hr_emp_taxonomy) plugin.Nota:
Employee Center widgets
The following are optional widgets that can be configured:
- Start Date widget: This widget only appears to new hires prior to their start date for onboarding cases only. When using the base system layout, place the widget on the Employee Center home page, in the right-hand pane above the My Items widget.
