  • Dynamic topic pages are topic pages that are dynamically configured using content tagged to a unified taxonomy across all departments.

These topic pages are separate portal pages that open when a user clicks a topic either from the mega menu navigation or from popular topics. Dynamic topic pages are not part of the home page. You can navigate to these pages from the mega menu or popular topic widgets. These pages are designed to provide a consistent experience across topics and channels in both web and Now Mobile app.

Topic pages are available on the Browser Extension for Employee Center. For more information, see Browser Extension for Employee Center.

The dynamic topic pages are categorized into:
Topic Pages without Employee Communication content
Dynamically generated topic pages that bring together different types of content, such as request, articles, and quick links to provide a new and improved browse experience. These pages are available to all customers by default.

Set up the content taxonomy and associate content to topics. If you have installed the Employee Center Pro application, you can use Content Delivery to target employee communication to topics. For more information on content taxonomy, see Unified Taxonomy for Employee Center.

For more information on creating content for your dynamic topic page, see Microsites. Rich Content Editor allows you to create and schedule rich, long form content using a drag-and-drop method and designed for non-technical users that create content. You can also create content from the Portal content and use the base system from Create a content category.

    Nota:

    1. Ensure that the content is targeted to the particular topic on the taxonomy.
    2. On the topic page banner or icon, using the keyboard, press the Control key and then right click.
    3. Select the Instance Options.
    4. Ensure that you select the Icon or Text only in the Secondary Display drop-down list.
    5. In the Select list of topics choose the topic that you want to apply the change from the instance options.
If these steps are not done, then you might see two banner images based on your previous settings.
