  • Submit a request to obtain the legal clearance before you involve in any activity that might pose a risk of potential conflict with the primary employer duties.

    Procedimento

    1. Navigate to All > Employee Center.
      Nota:
      If you are using Legal Service Portal, you can submit a legal request by navigating to the Legal Service Portal portal and selecting a request from the Service Catalog.
    2. Select Legal services from the header.
    3. Select Browse Legal services.
    4. Search for the conflict of interest disclosure request item.
    5. Click Conflict of Interest Disclosure.
    6. In the Conflict type field, select the type of conflict.
      The following options are available to select:
      • Board Service: A conflict of interest when a board member's interest might compromise the organization's interest or derive a financial or personal gain from a direct or indirect relationship.
      • Outside Employment: A conflict of interest when employees take up a second job that might be in conflict with the primary job duties.
      • Personal Relationship: A conflict of interest when employees having personal relationships also have a professional relationship within the organization.
      Based on the selection, more fields appear to fill in the required information.
    7. On the form, fill in the fields and click Submit.

    Resultado

    • A conflict of interest disclosure request is created in the New state. The risk assessment utility evaluates the submission against a set of predefined risk factors. Each risk factor contributes to an overall risk score, which determines the risk level (Low, Medium, or High) and the corresponding approval routing. The risk level determines whether the request needs approval or can be auto-approved.
    • Approvers assigned at each approval level can approve the request. Once the approval flow gets triggered, the state of the request updates to Work in Progress.
    • The Standard Ticket page displays that has the following tabs to perform different tasks:
      • Activity: Track the activity history of the request and post messages for the fulfiller working on the request.
      • Attachments: Upload and manage documents.
      • Attachments or Documents: Upload and manage the documents in the legal request.
        Nota:
        If the external storage option is enabled, the Documents tab is displayed. Otherwise, the Attachments tab is displayed.
      • The approval details appear under the Approvals tab on the Standard Ticket page.
