View and manage the opportunities created in Opportunity Marketplace

  • Opportunities are created to solicit individuals to apply for roles within the opportunity. As an Opportunity Marketplace admin [sn_opp_market.admin], you can view and manage opportunity records from the ServiceNow platform.

    There are times that opportunities must be updated by someone other than the opportunity owner. Having the role of Opportunity Marketplace admin [sn_opp_market.admin] enables you to update opportunities without being the opportunity owner.
    Dica:
    While admins can view and update opportunities, it is recommended that opportunity creators and owners view and update opportunities from Opportunity Marketplace in the Employee Center.

    Procedimento

    1. Navigate to All > Opportunity Marketplace > Opportunities.
      Opportunities records contain several fields. Here are some of the fields that help you to identify opportunities. Some of the listed fields are linked to their respective records for the applicant.

      Field Description
      Title The title of the opportunity that applicants and opportunity owners see when looking at opportunities.
      Opportunity type There are 3 opportunity types that come with the base system.

      As an admin, you can add custom opportunity types, see .
      State The State of an opportunity indicates where an opportunity is in the approval process.
      • Canceled
      • Closed
      • Complete
      • Draft
      • Edited
      • Published
      Published date The date that the opportunity is available to applicants.
    2. Select an opportunity.
    3. Update any field that must be changed.
    4. Select Update.
