  • Workplace Central is a one-stop application where you can view key metrics, and access or control all your workplace-related operations.

    Install the Workplace Central (sn_wsd_central) plugin from the ServiceNow Store.

    As a workplace manager, the Workplace Central makes it easier for you to configure, perform, monitor, and run all your workplace activities efficiently from a single workspace. The application helps you save time without the need to navigate to different places to perform any workplace-related action. For example, you can plan a scenario, track the scenario metrics, analyze workplace activities, monitor workplace maintenance plans, and more.

    Using the Workplace Central application, you can perform the following:
    • Plan scenarios using the Scenario planning feature available with the Space optimization module. This module provides the collective information for all the scenarios created, published, deployed, and archived in the system.

      For more information about scenario planning and the Space optimization module, refer to Scenario Planning.

    • You can track scenario metrics on the Space Optimization module and also view the scenarios individually.
    • Work on space assistance requests.
    • View and track space allocation requests.
    • Deploy space requests to implement the allocation changes specified in requests.
    • You can create, track, and manage the workplace contracts with the Lease Administration application.
    • View a key metrics dashboard for Space Optimization, Lease Administration, and Maintenance Management. For more information, see Working with Workplace Analytics.
    • Create move projects to track workplace move requests at a time. Collate move requests under a project using filter conditions and monitor their fulfillment. For more information, refer to Move Management.
    • Schedule move requests if necessary.
    • Track the progress of move requests and work on them based on priority and the dates on which they are expected to be fulfilled.
    • Using the Event planner, monitor reservation created in your workplace are any time using the Event planner.
    • Check the current day's planned reservation, canceled reservations and reservations that are yet to be approved.
    • View reservation details and edit a reservation as a reservation planner.
    • Open a reservation's details on the Employee central.
