    Important:
In the Employee Center, Plan configurations are also referred to as Journey templates.
    Plan configuration owners can:
    • Add, reorder, rename, or delete stages.
      Note:
Only empty stages can be deleted.
    • Add task templates to a stage.
    • Create a task template.
    • Preview a template as a selected employee.
    • Publish a journey template (plan configuration) for approval by reviewer.
      Note:
If a plan configuration doesn't have any assigned approver, the plan configuration is immediately published when the changes are submitted.
    • Plan configurations that are published and currently in use aren’t impacted by changes.

    Procedure

    1. Navigate to All > Employee Center > Journeys.
    2. Select the Journey templates tab.
    3. Select the plan configuration that you want to update.
    4. Update the plan configuration.
Owners and co-owners can change different parts of the plan configuration.
      • Stages: logical containers of task templates.
      • Task templates: individual tasks assigned to employees, mentors, or managers.
For details about the see, Journey designer journey template reference.
    5. Select Publish journey template.
      Note:
Only new task templates need an approval.
    6. Select Submit.
After the request is submitted, an approval task is sent to all the approvers assigned to the plan configuration.
      Important:
Only one approval triggers the publication of the plan configuration. If an approval is needed from a certain approver, owners should let all the approvers know.

Owners and co-owners can cancel an approval request as long as an approver hasn’t approved or rejected the request.
