Create an alert policy to associate with a notification channel. A policy is a group
of one or more conditions.

Log in to the New Relic console.

Click the Alerts & AI tab.

In the left navigation pane, click Policies.

On the policy index page, click New alert policy.

On the Create alert policy form, perform the following actions:
- ALERT POLICY NAME: Enter a name for the
policy.
- INCIDENT PREFERENCE: Select incident preference
to define when alerts create incidents and how violations are
grouped.

Click Create alert policy.
