Create a configuration to associate with an alert rule for
a service or integration. Notifications are sent during specific events in a service to a
channel in the Microsoft Teams messaging service.

Role required: sro_admin, sro_manager, or sro_user

Navigate to .

On the Services Overview page (
), open a service.

Click the Alert Rules tab.

Select an alert that you want to create a configuration for.

Click the more UI actions icon (
) that appears next to the Save button, and then
select Create Configuration.

On the form, fill in the fields.

Table on which the action is performed. Select

| Attach to Document |
Action to be executed on the selected table. Click
Search. The Select the
document form appears.
To select a document,
complete the following steps:
- In the Table name field,
select Action.
- In the Document field,
search for and select Post MS Teams
Message.
- Click OK.

Right-click the header, and click Save.
The Configuration Variables related list is created.

Under Configuration Variables, click New.

On the form, fill in the fields.
