A service can represent a team that you want to open incidents against. When you create
a service in SR Ops, it must reflect a service in your
infrastructure. You can add Event Management Application Performance Management (APM)
tool integrations to that service to receive events from those APMs.
* **[Configuring and integrating a service](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/PbXCfgpIukjOMv7mDg7_Sw)**
  When you create a service, you specify the basic tasks and parameters that define what makes up your service and how it should behave.
* **[Filter alerts, incidents, and change requests](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/NwIPDAvqc5u5J9dnTdkfPg)**
  Narrow your search results with filters.
* **[Approve a change request](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/TfPvMFA989mIoUHVNd4_Bg)**
  Approve a change request when the change is reviewed and approved by the Change Advisory Board (CAB) workbench.
* **[View the CMDB map of an SR Ops service](https://servicenow-prod.fluidtopics.net/EM3gC7uSex9BW~kPXvWLSQ)**
  View the service map for any SR Ops service to understand how services in your architecture connect and communicate.
