  • Use the Site Reliability Metrics (SRM) features to define Service Level Indicators (SLI)s, Service Level Objectives (SLO)s, and error budget policies for your service. These metrics help you and your team track your services and take necessary actions when required.

You can view the error budget and a graphical representation of the cumulative breach and remaining error budget. You can also create an error budget policy and associate it with the following actions to trigger when the threshold of a service level objective is crossed:
    • Send an email.
    • Create an incident.
    • Send messages using the Microsoft Teams messaging service.
    • Send messages using the Slack messaging service.
    • Create an incident and notify on-call.

The Site Reliability Metrics (SRM) view in the Site Reliability Operations (SRO) workspace contains the following sections:

    Reliability Indicators

Reliability indicators show the following details:

    • SLI and SLO details
    • Application Performance Monitoring (APM) properties
    • Measured reliability
    • Error budget
    • Remaining error budget
    • Graphical representation of the cumulative breach
    • Graphical representation of the remaining error budget
      Nota:
You can also view graphical representations of the cumulative breach and remaining error budgets for previous periods. This field is available only if the data for previous periods is available.

The latest information about the cumulative breach is shown with the value as Current in the graphical representation. If you want to find out the exact time when the data was captured, point your cursor to the last data point for the value Current.

    Error Budget Policy

The Error Budget Policy shows the following details:

    • Threshold details, such as burn rate and error budget remaining
    • Actions corresponding to the thresholds

You can also define SLO, SLI, and error budget policies for query-based or technical services.
